Grandparents rights Mr. Bledsoe assisted us in getting custody of our granddaughter. She was with her birth parents and the situation was not where any child should be. Other attorneys had told us it would be almost impossible to get custody from birth parents. Mr. Bledsoe fought hard and really new the law. Highly recommended I have been going to court proceedings for the last 2 1/2 years after I filed for divorce from my husband of 17 years. We have five children and two successful businesses. My ex-husband has been starving my kids and me out to the point that my church has been assisting us. I have had several other attorneys but my case has not moved forward in any timely manner. I have been going to court proceedings for the last 2 1/2 years after I filed for divorce from my husband of 17 years. We have five children and two successful businesses. My ex-husband has been starving my kids and me out to the point that my church has been assisting us. I have had several other attorneys but my case has not moved forward in any timely manner. Highly recommend Whether you're just starting out in your divorce, thinking of switching lawyers, or currently self represtenting; I can't recommend John Bledsoe and his firm enough and the absolute need for an ethical while strong attorney(CANT emphasize the rarity of that enough in OC). If you're in a high conflict case this decision will be life changing, possibly life saving. I've been stuck in a nightmare of a high conflict divorce for almost three years. The tactics my ex and his lawyer have used to continue the abuse I should've been escaping is nothing short of a Lifetime movie, our young baby being used as a pawn turns it into every mother's worst nightmare. Yesterday I was in court because when my wife and I separated she moved all our property out of our home and took all liquid assets, well over six figures. I had a good day in court. She put on an outrageous and dramatic act with crying, making false and outrageous lies about me and attempted to manipulate the court. John Bledsoe insisted on a hearing and that she answer specific questions about what she did with our money that she took. John Bledsoe held my wife accountable. I was impressed on how carefully the Judge listened to John compared to my wife’s attorney. When it was all over the Court ordered my wife to bring all the money she had left and put it in my attorney’s trust account within 72 hours. The result of John’s questioning of my wife was that she looked terrible to the Judge and ended up painting herself in a corner. She has found herself in big trouble. John Bledsoe really earned his money at court yesterday. Divorced in 2017 I was in the middle of a very contentious divorce that had been going on for over a year and was not happy with the counsel that I had at the time. My ex had always said that he would bury me in legal fees if we ever split up and he was out to hurt and destroy me. My ex had a top-notch attorney that completely overshadowed my counsel at the time.. We had an arbitration meeting where my previous counsel was berated by my ex and opposing counsel and I knew I had to make a change. I wanted an attorney that I could trust and that would be able to stand up to my ex's counsel and I was referred to John Bledsoe.I met with John and although he was kind, considerate and understanding he was also strong and had a strong presence. When I asked him "Can you stand up to opposing counsel?" he said without hesitation "absolutely". We were facing trial within 60 days and John geared up and was ready. John made himself available to me by phone, text, and email and was always responsive in getting back to me.Although trial was actually continued, as they almost always are, John worked with me to address numerous matters pertaining to the case including spousal support, attorney fees, disposition of the family residence which included Watts reimbursements, pension, drop program, Deferred Comp, sick pay accumulated, Gilmore reimbursements, and personal property that had to be divided. We knew this would ultimately end up in trial and so we prepared for that. Halfway through the trial we were ahead on almost every point and my ex was ripped apart by John and the judge.
