Child Custody I've been with John only few months, but so far been very Satisfied with his performance. Coming from two previous attorneys (one even wrote a book on father's rights) that did little to get real results. John has been very attentive and made me feel optimistic on the custody case. Helped me cut alimony in half John Bledsoe helped me negotiate my alimony settlement after my ex hired an attorney who said he loves working with guys like me. Her attorney was very aggressive and through out some very large numbers and claimed I would be paying for his time as well. John helped me avoid that and I ended up paying less then half of what her attorney proposed.

After a few years of yuk with my ex - my sister found John Bledsoe and I was very blessed to have him on my side - my ex had a high priced atty out of Newport Beach - so we were considered the underdogs - however John was great getting thru the yuk - they subpoenaed my bosses, baby sitter, etc - while the entire time my ex was claiming to be on unemployment and that's why he was not paying support - we found that my ex just changed employment status - from an employee to a subcontractor for a major home builder here in So Cal and that he put all his assets in his 3rd wife's name, then he switched everything into his 4th wife's name - my ex was making more than $25k a month - John was extremely great and we were able to get the judge to see thru my ex's BS - please note that my ex kept me in court for more than 13 years for different issues and support - John was great and stood by me the entire time and I would highly recommend him to anyone as I have done for the last 15 years - thanks John for ALL your hard work - you're wrong your NOT the underdog - your a quiet sweet bull dog!
Divorced in 2017 I was in the middle of a very contentious divorce that had been going on for over a year and was not happy with the counsel that I had at the time. My ex had always said that he would bury me in legal fees if we ever split up and he was out to hurt and destroy me. My ex had a top-notch attorney that completely overshadowed my counsel at the time.. We had an arbitration meeting where my previous counsel was berated by my ex and opposing counsel and I knew I had to make a change. I wanted an attorney that I could trust and that would be able to stand up to my ex's counsel and I was referred to John Bledsoe.I met with John and although he was kind, considerate and understanding he was also strong and had a strong presence. When I asked him "Can you stand up to opposing counsel?" he said without hesitation "absolutely". We were facing trial within 60 days and John geared up and was ready. John made himself available to me by phone, text, and email and was always responsive in getting back to me.Although trial was actually continued, as they almost always are, John worked with me to address numerous matters pertaining to the case including spousal support, attorney fees, disposition of the family residence which included Watts reimbursements, pension, drop program, Deferred Comp, sick pay accumulated, Gilmore reimbursements, and personal property that had to be divided. We knew this would ultimately end up in trial and so we prepared for that. Halfway through the trial we were ahead on almost every point and my ex was ripped apart by John and the judge. It was obvious in the court that John was much more prepared than opposing counsel. The judge asked us to go out of the courtroom and negotiate the remaining issues. Opposing counsel and my ex were much more amicable to a settlement. We settled and my life is finally back to normal. John lived up to his claim that he would be able to stand up to opposing counsel..., he went over and above even what I had expected for him to be able to pull off. Thank you John Bledsoe. John was more like a friend then my counsel and I appreciate everything he did for me.

Yesterday I was in court because when my wife and I separated she moved all our property out of our home and took all liquid assets, well over six figures. I had a good day in court. She put on an outrageous and dramatic act with crying, making false and outrageous lies about me and attempted to manipulate the court. I was impressed on how carefully the Judge listened to John compared to my wife’s attorney. When it was all over the Court ordered my wife to bring all the money she had left and put it in my attorney’s trust account within 72 hours. The result of John’s questioning of my wife was that she looked terrible to the Judge and ended up painting herself in a corner. She has found herself in big trouble. X-Wife making false statements of abuse John worked really hard to calm both my wife and myself down. He was able to not only get my time back with my son. we were also able to prove her as a lier. and the Judge informed her that if she ever came back to court without proof that she would loose custody of my son. and that it was only that my son was in school and doing ok and that i live in Seattle thathe did not transfer custody. John did all this in judges chambers which saved me alot of money, got the major point across and hopefully put a stop to all the lies and accuations that my X has put my son and me through. John did for me in three months what my Ga. Lawyer and $40.000 could not do. He put a stop to it. His office personal were just as professional as he was. he did not overcharge me and was fair about my bill to him. Highly recommend Whether you're just starting out in your divorce, thinking of switching lawyers, or currently self represtenting; I can't recommend John Bledsoe and his firm enough and the absolute need for an ethical while strong attorney(CANT emphasize the rarity of that enough in OC). If you're in a high conflict case this decision will be life changing, possibly life saving. I've been stuck in a nightmare of a high conflict divorce for almost three years. The tactics my ex and his lawyer have used to continue the abuse I should've been escaping is nothing short of a Lifetime movie, our young baby being used as a pawn turns it into every mother's worst nightmare. My family has supported me in retaining two top attorneys to fight for my child. Not only has choosing the wrong attorney's costed me hundreds of thousands in losses, it has lost me almost three years with my child. John handled my divorce. He handled it so well that when my ex lost all of her initial motions that she fired her attorney and got another one! It didn’t help as John prevailed on everything: No spousal support and 50/50 custody. John answered all my questions and gave good advice on what to do, how to do it, and how long it would take. Excellent lawyer I retained John Bledsoe after a vindictive X had filed innumerable filings of false accusations against me, trying to claim alienation when he himself was abusive.
