My ex had a top-notch attorney that completely overshadowed my counsel at the time.. We had an arbitration meeting where my previous counsel was berated by my ex and opposing counsel and I knew I had to make a change. I wanted an attorney that I could trust and that would be able to stand up to my ex's counsel and I was referred to John Bledsoe.I met with John and although he was kind, considerate and understanding he was also strong and had a strong presence. When I asked him "Can you stand up to opposing counsel?" he said without hesitation "absolutely". We were facing trial within 60 days and John geared up and was ready. John made himself available to me by phone, text, and email and was always responsive in getting back to me.Although trial was actually continued, as they almost always are, John worked with me to address numerous matters pertaining to the case including spousal support, attorney fees, disposition of the family residence which included Watts reimbursements, pension, drop program, Deferred Comp, sick pay accumulated, Gilmore reimbursements, and personal property that had to be divided. We knew this would ultimately end up in trial and so we prepared for that. Halfway through the trial we were ahead on almost every point and my ex was ripped apart by John and the judge. Excellent lawyer I retained John Bledsoe after a vindictive X had filed innumerable filings of false accusations against me, trying to claim alienation when he himself was abusive. X-Wife making false statements of abuse John worked really hard to calm both my wife and myself down. He was able to not only get my time back with my son. we were also able to prove her as a lier. and the Judge informed her that if she ever came back to court without proof that she would loose custody of my son. and that it was only that my son was in school and doing ok and that i live in Seattle thathe did not transfer custody. John did all this in judges chambers which saved me alot of money, got the major point across and hopefully put a stop to all the lies and accuations that my X has put my son and me through. John did for me in three months what my Ga. Lawyer and $40.000 could not do. He put a stop to it. I have been going to court proceedings for the last 2 1/2 years after I filed for divorce from my husband of 17 years. We have five children and two successful businesses. Yesterday I was in court because when my wife and I separated she moved all our property out of our home and took all liquid assets, well over six figures. I had a good day in court. I was impressed on how carefully the Judge listened to John compared to my wife’s attorney. When it was all over the Court ordered my wife to bring all the money she had left and put it in my attorney’s trust account within 72 hours. The result of John’s questioning of my wife was that she looked terrible to the Judge and ended up painting herself in a corner. She has found herself in big trouble. Child Custody I've been with John only few months, but so far been very Satisfied with his performance.
